Guided Hikes

Those who would like to take part in a guided hike in Dienten, Maria Alm or Mühlbach are spoilt for choice. Tours with experienced hiking guides can be booked through the Hochkönig Tourist Office. Another highlight of the hiking region is herb hiking.

Quickly up with the mountain railways

Our personal recommendation is a ride on the Bürglalmbahn cable car. Twice a week, it takes guests up to the alpine pasture of the same name. On all other days of the week, guests can use all other mountain railways in the Hochkönig region free of charge with the Hochkönig Card included in the hotel price. Mountain bikers, cyclists and hikers can also enjoy themselves to their heart’s content here.

For this Tour, you will have to reckon with 6:30 hours approx. of 1,285 meters of altitude ascent and descent in cope.
