Our recreational programme

The children's programme for kids aged 3 or older offers fun and activity indoors and outdoors on your family holiday in Dienten on the Hochkönig. From Sunday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. you can let of steam with tennis, table tennis or table football tournaments, enjoy creative painting or uncover secrets on a puzzle rally. There's a castle tour for adventurers in Salzburger Land and a panoramic trip on the "rambling tractor" for the more sedate! By the way, the children's programme is inclusive for all our young guests. If you want family fun in a class of its own, the new trend sport geocaching turns your holiday into a real treasure hunt.

Our qualified child supervisor naturally ensures that our young holiday guests on holiday in Austria return in the evening safe and sound, meaning that there is no longer anything standing in the way of a perfect stay with us on your family holiday on the Hochkönig. Young guests have a choice at dinner and there is of course a sweet surprise afterwards. Drinks from the drinks buffet are also included free all day long.

At the new Alpin Park Dienten climbing park, children, teenagers and adults can enjoy climbing fun in a safe practice area with flying fox, suspension bridge, rope course, climbing net, climbing rock with children's via ferrata and sports climbing routes. The Urslautal golf course is also nearby. A great family day also awaits you at the mountain village of animals in Mühlbach where you can get to know lots of lovely animals up close.

From the Hochkönig you can get to Salzburg, the charming city of Mozart, in about an hour by car.

The Hallein Salt Mine with Celtic Museum, the Eisriesenwelt in Werfen, the world's largest ice caves, Hohenwerfen Fortress with its spectacular bird of prey demonstration and the Krimmler Waterfalls are in the surrounding area and enrich your family holiday in Austria.

We have lots of day trips and adventures, such as summer tobogganing, the forest rope course, an introductory climbing session, rafting, table tennis, excursions, mountain biking or other cool things on the holiday programme for teenagers.
